Turmeric-ginger red cabbage

  • 750 g red cabbage, cut paper-thin
    1 cup of water
    100 g coarse salt
    4 turmeric roots, cut paper-thin
    30 g ginger root, cut paper-thin
    1 apple, very thinly sliced
  • Knead all ingredients well and put into jars. Let stand for 2 weeks and then enjoy raw or cooked.
